Installation REQUIRES cutting drivers side O.E. tail pipe assembly. This 3″ diameter Borla(r) system is a True Dual design. This Borla(r) mid-pipe assembly was designed specifically for the Ram TRX. It features the ATAK(r) sound level, our most aggressive sound. It provides a more exciting driving experience without any drone. System contains Borla(r)’s unique patented SwitchFire(r) X-Pipe technology that eliminates the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe while truly blending the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance. The sound is further tuned via our Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology which utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. The result is an aggressive custom sound and improved power. Installation requires cutting the driver’s side O.E. Tail Pipe assembly. O.E. tail pipes are Resonance Free pipes and are reused with the Borla(r) 60717. Use O.E. tips, or optional Borla(r) tips to complete the system. The optional Borla(r) tips are available in angle-cut style with bright chrome or black chrome on T-304 stainless steel, or square-cut Brawler style with black coated T-304 stainless steel or brushed T-304 stainless configurations. Built from premium T-304 stainless steel, superior to T-400 series (such as 409), to give you the absolute best in performance and durability. Ultra-smooth mandrel bends ensure maximum flow & power, and precision computer numerical control (CNC) manufacturing ensures an accurate fit.
